Nesir Ostovar, AScT.
Nesir, a BCIT graduate, started with KD as a Junior Estimator in 2009 and now handles the lion’s share of the estimating duties at KD Engineering. Nesir’s knowledge of mechanical systems and his organizational skills are critical in KD’s commitment to provide clients with fair commissioning and balancing pricing, when they need it. Nesir enjoys several sports in his off time.
Richard Salary, AScT.
Until recently, Richard managed the daily operations of KD’s balancing department. As Richard moves into semi-retirement, he is undertaking a training role in our balancing department. Richard’s good humor and attention to our client’s needs is a shining example of KD’s commitment to being the best provider of balancing and commissioning services in the BC construction industry. When Richard is not working he enjoys travelling and spending time in the Okanagan.

KD’s Technologist was very knowledgeable, accommodating and a pleasure to work with during this complex renovation. His assessments and recommendations were easily understood. Always good to work with KD and look forward to more projects in the future.
Ed Joson, P. Eng., LEED APP, CMVP
Ed joined KD’s Commissioning Department several years ago and has worked as a Commissioning Authority and Commissioning Agent on several large projects. Ed is well versed in the Whole Building Commissioning model and works in this capacity often. Ed’s professionalism & enthusiasm in addition to his detailed knowledge of the many different commissioning models in the industry, makes Ed invaluable to KD’s team. Ed is involved with ASHRAE and attends their U.S. Conference regularly to keep up on emerging trends in the Commissioning profession. In his off time, Ed spends time with his family and is very involved with his church
