Paul Weverink, AScT., LEED AP
Paul started in KD’s Manuals Department after graduating from BCIT in 1988. After several years of working in KD’s Balancing Department, Paul became part of KD’s Commissioning Team where he did many mechanical commissioning and LEED commissioning projects. Paul has been the Commissioning Department Manager since 2013 after several years of being the Projects Coordinator. Paul was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Building Commissioning Association, Western Canadian Chapter. When he’s not at his day job, Paul works in Municipal Government as a Councillor in the Village of Anmore, a community that he is passionate about.

Steve Hong, AScT.
Steve, a BCIT grad has been with KD Engineering since 2001 and has recently taken over the position of Balancing Department Manager. Steve schedules all of KD’s field balancing technologists and ensures that the final balancing reports are clear and concise. For the past several years, Steve was KD’s balancing field supervisor in charge of ensuring that KD’s field technologists had the support and assistance they needed to deliver a quality balancing service every time. Steve in his off time spends time with his family.
Dave Kosaka, AScT.
One of KD’s longest serving employees, Dave started his career with KD in the balancing department soon after graduating from BCIT and has never looked back. Dave has worked all over the province during his years with KD and has mentored numerous junior technologists throughout his career. Dave’s extensive balancing experience and his “can do” attitude means there is no job that is too challenging. Now moving into semi-retirement, Dave enjoys travelling and spending time with friends.
